Lichfield City Academy have some very talented attacking players and that shows in our season to date as we like to play on the frontfoot and entertain. Everyone likes goalscorers and at Lichfield City Academy we like to play attacking football. We create chances for strikers and in the squad I have been impressed with the attacking options of Lika, Rainbow, Archer, Smith and Addy who all have contributed and have more times ahead to shine with their personal and team goals. They all have wonderful ability and are starting to play like team players and I believe with confidence that they will have great futures in the game.

However, Joe and Max have scored some great chances this year Joe with 15 goals to date and has played in numerous attacking positions and is in top form at present. Our french international Max has scored some great goals from the left flank and has exciting pace with 11 goals to date, scoring 5 in one match.. Our top Lichfield City Academy goalscorer is Jordon on 25 to date.

Grabbing a double in the week in our 6-3 win against Newcastle Town I was delighted with his attitude and desire. He has worked hard all season on the pitch and scores all times of goals and i know is remaining focused that a great opportunity ahead he will have when graduating from the academy. He is listening to the team way of playing and we are using his strengths. Great occassions are ahead for our goalscorers. Well done lads.
