The first official game of the season for the LichfieldCityFC Academy finally happened with a good performance from the players. On a hot Saturday morning away at a strong Halesowen team the lads looked a solid team in the first half 2-1 down with a great goal from our star striker MAX. Jordan lewis had a few opportunities througout the game which was pleasing for the team and after being fouled by the GK on a one on one it was a poor decision that their was no sending off. The resulting freekick RAINBOW went close.

Second half simple mistakes occurred and LichfieldCityFC Academy still looked to attack forward and MAX & JORDY both scored. 6-3 loss to one of the league favourities was no large disappointment. If the lads can learn from their mistakes then another competitive game awaits. Charlie skipped the team well, Alex & Jack looked good throughout. The attacking force was exciting throughout the game & RAINBOW was on fire in the first half before an injury. JOEY worked with high energy all game. Lookforward to Wednesday.
