FIRST WIN- LICHFIELD CITY FOOTBALL ACADEMY

Our first official national college game against an established Romulus FC academy. We find ourselves in a tough league and today we prepared to the best of our ability. First team star regulars R Winter-Max J-Rainbow were all missing through injury. Joe shirley 7 J-Burns was rested with captain Ben Mortiboy. Lichfield city FC academy conceeded after 5 minutes from a set piece. However, Lichfield city FC Academy had the most possession in the first half and at times played outstanding football. Mo having a 35 yard free kick tipped over the cross bar. Jordan looked sharp up front and was rewarded with two goals.

His second was a gem of a goal picking the ball up just over the half way line he passed 4 players with speed and cut into the box with a fantastic finish past the gk. 2-1 HT. Second half the Lichfield city FC Academy moved forward again and were determined for the win. TJ escaping down the left and bravely beating the goalkeeper to put the team 3-1 up then blake got his deserved goal to make it 4-1. Romulus brought the score back quickly to 4-3 with a well taken free kick.

This was mostly down to making 5 subs appearences. Jordy suer sub addy again came on and showed quality scoring the 5th goal after a brilliant pass from Joey Shirley. Well done Lichfield city FC Academy on your first game & win.
