Lichfield City Academy would like to wish all our friends and family a very happy Christmas & good health for the new year.

I’m delighted with the progress of the young players on and off the pitch.

Education success with the 2 year A level courses also level 1 & 2 passes.

Next year we start the foundation degree courses for 1-2 years and this enables our young academy students to train & play with their team mates in a safe environment.

Real madrid tour was a fantastic experience especially opening a new stadium with a match and watching Real Madrid v A Madrid derby was great fun and this year to Barcelona FC looks exciting.

Representive at County u18, all lads play in academy & Reserves standard which is developing their football mental-physical game.

Delighted that 4 lads are in the first team squad with more to follow in 2018.

A fantastic new pitch has enabled the lads to have quality training each day to develop and improve.

The professional friends who have supported with advice and guidance has been brilliant.

Visits to Wembley and each month to St Georges Park to experience elite training and events is a wonderful opportunity and the players always show respect and work really hard.

2018 plans already in place to support the football family we have at the academy and wonderful positive team spirit.
