The Lichfield City Academy will be delighted to offer Year 11 school leavers onto Higher education 16-19 courses and students looking to enrol for sports degree courses 18-21 for July 2020.
We are delighted with the progress and development of the students on & off the pitch. The established & successful academy is 5 years old and we are proud to have partnership arrangements with local colleges, St Georges Park, University pathways and professional football clubs.
Some exciting announcements will occur at the end of the currect season for the new & existing players.
Congratulations to the current team who are top of the midland floodlit league with 4 matches to play and are looking forward to 3 cup finals. Amazing success at this age level and are exciting players for adult football careers.
The staff have worked exceptionally hard this season with the group of players. These are talented individual specialists on their own- but as a management team are outstanding.

2 YEAR COURSE
The Lichfield City FC Football Academy provides a two year full time course for school leavers 16-18 years of age, who can prove they have football talent or skills to potentially progress to a career in sport.
8 SESSIONS A WEEK
The football is structured around eight practical football sessions per week. The focus of these sessions is on tactical, technical and physical ability and conditioning, as well the importance of psychological elements of the game.
BTEC LEVEL 3
The education element of this academy ensures that the players do not miss out on further educational studies. The course is a BTEC level 3 national extended diploma in sport (equivalent to 3 A Levels)
INTERACTIVE
The whole course is interactive and effective in order that learning is enjoyable and encouraged that students strive to attain a distinction grade or A level high standards.
