WELCOME FROM DARREN MIDDLETON OWNER & DIRECTOR OF ACADEMY

The established & successful academy supports year 11 school leavers & University students 16-21 years of age with understanding how young players learn, develop and improve. Our goal is to allow talented players the opportunity to grow in a challenging environment with the combination of our excellent higher educational qualifications & our unique football programme. Our students progress to either University, or careers in the sports sector in the U.K. or overseas pathways.

The students have wonderful memories when we travel to our foreign tours, play showcase professional football teams & train at St Georges park with elite national coaches.

I have been playing/coaching and involved in football for twenty-five years I am passionate football man and advocate of investing in young people. For those players that are not hand-picked by professional clubs this academy programme will allow talented students the opportunity to reach their full potential through expertise and guidance with specialist staff.

Our students will have the opportunity to play in the FA Youth cup, competitive professional friendlies & non league u18 & U19 midland leagues. Their is clear pathway to first team football if the player is dedicated.

Representing England at u16/u18 level and being paid to play professional football provided excellent knowledge of how to develop young talented players. Gaining business management qualifications at university, maintaining professional education & progression with the elite UEFA A coaching badge throughout my career allowed secure progression to a second career after football.
