Lichfield City Academy Well Done
The success of the group is as a team they have learned to win games, they have shown great desire, courage and will to learn new playing positions and they have listened to instruction on developing as players to progress into adult football. Nine students have passed their FA football coaching level 1-2 badges which is encouraging progress for future sports careers.
All players have shown great potential, success and performance at different times during the season however, Alex Jones has had a wonderful season with his consistency of performance and playing different positions. Ben Mortiboy as skipper has maintained great desire and will to improve and support the team on a weekly basis. Jordon Lewis scored 35 goals and had a fantastic season. Other top goal scorers Joe Shirley, Maxime Chauvell, Brandon Smith and Jordy Addy have all contributed to the team and played some awesome games.
The Real Madrid tour was a fantastic experience for the Lichfield City Academy players and the consistant vists to Wembley and St Georges Park have aided the development of the team. Creating memories and friendships is the aim of the Academy.

It will be exciting to witness the new Lichfield City Academy players joining this talented team in August to play for a match shirt in the FA YOUTH CUP, National college league, Midland Floodlit league and reserve team progress.
