Several Lichfield CIty Academy players had the success of playing at Wolves W FC training ground at the weekend in another part of their development at the Lichfield City Academy. It was a fun afternoon on a sunday, which is never easy to perform on their rest day with new team mates. I was delighted with the players attitude and effort to perform. Max & Jordan both scoring.

The players were selected for a County u18 match and all played well considering the circumstances. The selected players will represent the county against Wolves & Walsall FC scholars over the next two months in showpiece games and will play a competitive match once a month which football league scouts will watch.

The lads should feel very proud of their selection and im sure other players in the group will have an opportunity during the season if they keep working hard at training and with their match performances.
