Lichfield City FC Academy NEW Student-Players
Lichfield City FC Academy is looking to add talented student football players to the existing team of the age 16-18 players. Witnessing the success of the 2016/2017 season of student/players it is with excitement new recruits that will be added. Several new recruits were provided the opportunity to attend the teams training at St Georges park to receive elite coaching with our partners in a fantastic environment. They impressed and i witnessed great passion, good attitude and skill to do well and the feedback from others was positive; it was good news they enjoyed their day.
The exisiing talented players enjoyed the good football practice that Lichfield City FC Academy is involved with and i could see a team of talented football players emerging to achieve further development at the Academy. The new recruits will have their football skills observed in training and match practice before a place at the academy can be offered and a requirement is that they need to attend a discussion with positive qualifications from school.
We look for a positive attitude in our students, a desire and focus to do well. A student player at Lichfield City FC Academy has to have good football ability and be willing to work hard in a challenging timetable of further education and 10 hours of football practice/games each week. The current Lichfield City FC Academy player has improved and developed that the standard criteria for a place has been raised since last start of season.
We wish the current team best of luck with end of term qualifications to remain with the Academy and new recruits good luck in their exams in order they can all enjoy fun at Lichfield city FC Academy next season.
