Lichfield City Football Academy is delighted to welcome the new football and education learners for 2021. After last years success of graduates during a tough covid-19 situation for all, 60% enrolled at university. The success enabled a new in take of learners to develop, learn and create long lasting happy memories with the existing football academy learners.
Lichfield City football academy is well established as we approach our 6th year helping year 11 school leavers with an alternative option to college or sixth form to gain further education and enrol on degree courses in sport.
The learners have progressed very well in pre season and have participated in several wonderful experiences being coached by professional football coaches at premier & championship league clubs plus England u21 FA staff.
Wonderful experiences for our learners to enjoy the beautiful game as we start a new football campaign progressing their skills and career pathways.
We were delighted to witness boys graduate and settle in the USA this summer, academy players step up to u21 level and one player had a 6 week-trial at a professional club.
